TIMING BELT
Timing belt uses camshaft drive mechanism, its specifications are designed to be sufficient for standard engines.
However, due to the using high spec tuning engine, high lift camshaft, and reinforced valve spring, etc., increase heat generated by the turbocharger,
engine, It drastically deteriorates the durability of Timing belt.
TOMEI Reinforced Timing Belt is made by high saturated HNB-Rubber and reinforced glass core fiber.
The gear facing fabric is made from Aramid fiber instead of standard Nylon to slightly increase the tensile strength.
Nylon Micro Fiber kneaded in the rubber also prevents tooth-jumping by increasing the tooth strength.
Everything is designed to make sure the camshafts are driven at the right valve timing even under severe conditions.
