This valve cuts an iconic profile too. The internals are built tough to withstand the pressure of very highly tuned engines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ffffff;\">The HKS SSQV uses pull type operation. This means that unlike push type valves, the pressure of boost from the turbo holds the valve closed until it\u2019s intended to operate. This means the valve works correctly from low-boost all the way to very high boost on tuned engines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ffffff;\">Sequential in the name comes from the valves two-stage opening mechanism. The valve can open a little or a lot depending on the amount of pressure that requires venting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ffffff;\">These features taken together mean one valve can do it all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ffffff;\">The iconic noise the valve makes can also be fine-tuned. The stock noise is the result of the three finned insert.
