        Competition-use brake pads need to go through a process to be pre-heated before a race to exhibit its full potential. This process is called bedding-in.<\/p>\n

        \u300a Method of bedding-in \u300b<\/h6>\n

        Raise the brake disc temperature to around 500\u2103 without doing any hard braking; seating the discs and pads. Once the seating is finished, bring the car to a complete stop and let the discs cool by air till the disc temperature is below 100\u2103.Now there is a film of the brake pad’s compound on the disc; the bedding-in process is complete.<\/p>\n
