N2 OIL BLOCK
OIL LUBRICATION
The SR20 engine’s factory oil block tends to fail due to the weak oil filter sensor screw which often breaks. We here at TOMEI had found the problem during professional racing over a decade ago, so we designed & produced this upgrade oil block which solved the problem.
We had later discountinued this product after the end for the N2 series race but due to popular demand we had to bring it back into production with a new revived design. Now being lighter than before with ports for oil temperature and oil pressure sensors. The failure in the oil block can lead to engine failure so this is an absolute must have upgrade to protect your investment. Especially with vehicles running a sandwich block or similar the oil cooler can fail at times so you have to take added precautions.

The FA20 boxer engine inside the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ can be said to be the successor to the EJ engine. At Tomei Powered, through our extensive testing, we’ve produced numerous EJ engine and exhaust parts. By applying our knowledge and experience of EJ engines to the ZN6/ZC6, we conducted even further tests to produce 2 new exhaust manifolds with different characteristics. After extensive research and development, the TOMEI EVO exhaust manifold is now avaliable.
Holding the same quality as our other Expreme exhaust components, this 4G63 EVO exhaust manifold is a perfect balance of ingenuity and is more efficient through numerous R & D testing. In the early stages of development, we worked with the original exhaust manifold to find the true limits of the factory production piece. After gathering numerous data from the original equipment tests, we slowly pieced together our Expreme exhaust manifold. |

The 4G63 Expreme manifold is one of a kind in design. Starting off with its smooth curves, the Expreme exhaust manifold has excellent flow characteristics. The tubing used has a diameter of 45 and is considered to be the best size when achieving for maximum torque. The material used for the piping and flange is aircraft quality SUS304 stainless steel. This material is very durable against corrosion and other harmful elements. Though in time, a light discoloration may be present, it is to be noted that this material will not deteriate. The process used to assemble this manifold together is know as the lost wax method and is very advanced in the sense that it helps promote the strength and long lasting structural integrity. Along side this well developed manifold is a manifold accessory known as a heat shield. This one off in design heat shielding device is also made from durable SUS304 stainless steel. When attached, to the exhaust manifold, this Expreme heat shield will help promote cooler under hood temperatures, thus other peripheral engine devises will have cooler and longer lasting run times.

Tomei adjustable cam pullies are sliding types with timing degree markings that allow the fine tuning of the valvetrain for optimized power.

Although the timing belt is a common part of the engine, not all OEM and aftermarket timing belts are designed to be used on highly tuned turbo powered engines. The durability of the timing belt is greatly reduced with performance engines running at high RPM with aggressive camshafts, increased torque coming from the valve springs, extreme heat conditions from the larger turbos and more.
TOMEI Reinforced Timing Belt is made by high saturated HNB-Rubber and reinforced glass core fiber.
The gear facing fabric is made from Aramid fiber instead of standard Nylon to slightly increase the tensile strength.

ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

FUEL UPGRADE REQUIREMENT
When the injectors and fuel pump are upgraded to a larger flow setup the stock fuel pressure regulator will not be enough to suit the required pressures for the new setup. Also the stock is already preset to from factory for the standard setup and non adjustable so it will be restricting the tuning potential of the car. The TOMEI Fuel Pressure Regulator will ensure stable pressures are supplied with the oversized diaphragm. This special design has proven to maintain the required pressure levels with any adjustments made.

FOR GENERAL TUNING
FOR HIGH FLOW, BIG POWER & HIGH BOOST
When the engine is idling low the fuel flow used compared to full power is only approx 15%. Therefore most of the fuel that is sent by the pump will be returned to the fuel tank. When the engine is tuned the optimum efficiency can be obtained with the optimum mixture of A/F ratio. When the fuel pump is too large and the regulator is not strong enough to handle the excess fuel that it is receiving it will then not be able to regulate the flow to allow the fuel to return to the tank. This will cause the fuel pressure to be too high and too much fuel to be pumped into the engine which will lead to over enrichment and poor fuel efficiency and a variety of problems will occur.
* When the fuel pressure changes from 0.5kgf/cm2 it greatly affects the settings due to the A/F difference will change from 0.5 or more.

When the adjustable fuel pressure regulator is set to optimize the injectors the best fuel consumption and burn ratio can be achieved. |

B : MAIN PIPE
The pipe diameter was chosen for optimum exhaust flow efficiency. For performance use in mind and weigh reduction. Thus the slide joints was made instead of using the conventional flange and gasket design.
C : SUB SILENCER
This sub silencer was designed with a simple structure and minimal size to reduce unwanted noise. Without hindering exhaust gas flow.
